The Sum Of The Parts
A good plan deployed now, is better than a perfect plan delayed.
Having a plan is always a good thing, from a simple list to a full blown blue print, every body benefits when there is a plan. Through the years I’ve been a part of many concept development, production, and launch meetings and I’ve built my share of marketing plans for them.
With the addition of Blogs, and Social Media the emphasis is now on creating a systematic and timely response
With the addition of Blogs, and Social Media the emphasis is now on creating a systematic and timely response to an audiences needs. Calendars, lists of obscure holidays, seminar dates, webinar dates, trade exhibits, and monthly SEO and SEM reviews requires new media marketing know how to a set-up and read. Using a gantt chart, google docs, and iCal meetings as well as being able to map out critical paths and project dependancies are required for any project to succeed. In short a marketing strategy that is shared and dynamic rules the day. It’s become a much more complicated and demanding job to develop a marketing strategy.
Developing a viable marketing strategy to keep a project on path and on budget is one of the skills that I have honed over the past 26 years.
